Prior to joining Blunden & Kidd, Debbie worked in another local CPA Firm and was an elected trustee at the Salem-South Lyon District Library. Debbie worked in a variety of positions at Ford Motor for 19 years before choosing to stay home and raise her two children, who are now adults living in Chicago and Portland, Oregon.
Literacy is one of her passions and she is involved in a variety of advocacy and fundraising activities to ensure funding and literacy causes for the library. Her other interests include photography, golf, and travel. She is hoping to be able to finish her travel goal to visit all 7 continents.
In the past few years, she and her husband have enjoyed visiting Japan and South Africa where experiencing the local food and culture is always the main highlight of any trip. Debbie is looking forward to getting to know the clients at Blunden and Kidd Accounting & Consulting!
